''Laides'' is a genus of schilbid catfishes native to Asia. ==Species== There are currently two recognized species in this genus: * ''Laides hexanema'' (Bleeker, 1852) * ''Laides longibarbis'' (Fowler, 1934) ''L. hexanema'' is distributed in Thailand to Indonesia, in large rivers, including the Mekong. ''L. longibarbis'' originates from the Mekong, Mehklong, and Chao Phraya River basins. ''L. hexanema'' grows to 16.5 cm (6.5 in) TL; it is found in large rivers and feeds on small fishes.
