''Lapemis'' is a genus of sea snakes. It contains only two members: * Shaw's sea snake, ''Lapemis curtus'' * Spine-bellied sea snake, ''Lapemis hardwickii'' In 1990 Voris and Gritis determined that these two species are not distinct. 〔Gritis, P. & H.
