Laxometer A laxometer is a measuring device for scalp skin mobility, used in hair restoration surgery, where a strip of skin from a donor area on the back of the scalp is transplanted. ==History== The laxometer was first presented at the 15th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery in Las Vegas. It was invented by (Parsa Mohebi, M.D. ) and introduced as the first tool that could objectively measure the laxity of scalp in hair transplant patients. The second generation of (Laxometer ) and was introduced in September 2011 in the scientific meeting of International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
