Leofdaeg
Leofdaeg was a legendary 4th century Anglo-Saxon warrior. He was said to of wandered into a witch's garden while she was casting a spell. After the spell was cast, he was transformed into a green-skined man. The only way to undo the curse was to achieve twenty-eight vigorous tasks to prove his bravery. He achieved the twenty-eight tasks and traveled to Scandinavia where he lived the rest of his life with his dog. ==Wulfstan== The first task, was to slay the Jötnar, Wulfstan, where he traveled on a small boat for many days. When he reached him, he was inside a destroyed temple that fell into a cave. Wulfstan, would breath fire and often turn into a fire dragon. ==Hafgufa== After the first task, Leofdaeg sailed out to sea to find a sea monster. He saw an island and rested there for five days and nights. Finally he saw a stump, and stabbed it. The island shook. He realised the island was the monster. Hafgufa. He slayed the dragon, but his ship sank after the destruction, so he swam from Greenland to Iceland.
