In Greek mythology, the name Leucus (Λεῦκος "white") may refer to: *Leucus, son of the bronze giant Talos of Crete. Following the advice of Nauplius, he seduced Meda, wife of Idomeneus, who had been convinced by Nauplius not to stay faithful to her husband, when Idomeneus himself had gone to Trojan War. Leucus eventually killed Meda and took possession of the kingdom; he also killed her daughter Cleisithyra, despite the fact that she was betrothed to him by Idomeneus, and two sons of Meda, Iphiclus and Lycus (or Leucus). Idomeneus was driven out of Crete by Leucus upon return from Troy.〔''Bibliotheca'', Epitome of Book 4, 6. 9 - 10〕〔Tzetzes on Lycophron, 386, 1093, 1218, 1222〕〔Tzetzes, ''Chiliades'', 291-298〕 *Leucus, a companion of Odysseus, killed by Antiphus.〔Homer, ''Iliad'', 4. 491〕 *Leucus, a singer from Lesbos in the army of Dionysus.〔Nonnus, ''Dionysiaca'', 24. 231〕 *Leucus, an epithet of Hermes in Boeotia.〔Tzetzes on Lycophron, 680〕 ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Leucus」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
