Lijnden is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, and lies about 10 km west of Amsterdam. Lijnden or 'de Lijnden' is called after one of the three pumping stations, who reclaimed the municipality of Haarlemmermeer Lijnden has a population of around 850 Lijnden located the oldest (primary) school of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer: School 1.
