Limasawa is a sixth class municipality and an island of the same name in the province of Southern Leyte, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 5,835 inhabitants, making it the smallest municipality in the province, both in population and area.〔〔 It lies south of Leyte, in the Mindanao or Bohol Sea.
