Lindenhorst
__NOTOC__ ''Lindenhorst'' was a restaurant located in Valkenburg, Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1983-1993.〔 (Historical overview Michelin stars 1981 t/m 1985 ) Last visited 6 January 2013〕〔 (Historical overview Michelin stars 1986 t/m 1990 ) Last visited 6 January 2013〕〔 (Historical overview Michelin stars 1991 t/m 1996 ) Last visited 3 June 2012〕 Head chef in the time of the Michelin star was Ida Kleijnen.〔Originally known as Ida van den Hurk.〕 Owner Ida Kleijnen sold the restaurant in 1994 to her son Paul Keijdener. The same day, they learned the restaurant had lost its Michelin star. Keijdener continued the restaurant till 2004, when he decided to pursue other challenges. After a stint in France, he returned to Valkenburg in 2011. The old restaurant Lindenhorst was still for sale, so he moved back to the place where it all begun for him. After renovation, he reopened the restaurant as "Chez Paul".〔 (Koken met Passie - Paul Keijdener )〕 ==External links==
