''Liparophyllum'' is a genus of aquatic flowering plants in the family Menyanthaceae. The name ''Liparophyllum'' comes from the Greek words ''liparos'', meaning "fat, shiny or oily", and ''phyllon'', meaning "leaf". They are rhizomatous wetland plants with alternate linear leaves.
