Lipombo Lipombo (pronounced lip-ohm-boe) is the practice of wrapping an infants head in a latitudinal way so that as their cranium and brain grows it is pushed out to look more elongated. This practice was used widely by the Mangbetu people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. ==References==
