Llanaber is a linear village in north west Wales, near the resort of Barmouth. It is situated between Talybont and Barmouth on the coast, 1 km north of Barmouth on the A496 road. The Irish Sea lies directly to the west and the Rhiniog mountains lie directly to the east. The main attraction of Llanaber is the vast beautiful beach that is clean and flat and never overcrowded, making it ideal for a range of recreational activities, including horse riding, cycling, rounders, cricket and football. A protective promenade runs alongside the beach, taking walkers and cyclists all the way into Barmouth town centre. ==Facilities== It is served by hourly bus services and Llanaber railway station on the Cambrian train line.
