Liswerry
Lliswerry ((ウェールズ語:Llyswyry)), also spelt incorrectly ''Liswerry'', is both an electoral district (ward) and community of the city of Newport, South Wales. The area is governed by the Newport City Council.
A survey was held on facebook in 2015 regarding the spelling of the name and result was 100% in favour that it is spelt Lliswerry. Not one person agreed with the spelling Liswerry. All the local sign post are spelt Lliswerry and the local schools.
== Community boundaries ==
The community is bounded by the River Usk to the west, Lilleshall Street and Telford Street to the northeast, the Great Western main line to the north, the original western end of Llanwern steelworks and Meadows Road to the east, and Nash Road, Traston Road, Corporation Road and Stephenson Street to the south. Lliswerry ward is composed of both the Lliswerry and Nash communities.
