Lorsica (Ligurian: ''Lòrsega'') is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about east of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 492 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Lorsica contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Acqua, Barbagelata, Castagnelo, Figarolo, Monteghirfo, and Verzi.
