''Lotpot'' (Hindi : लोटपोट) is a Hindi comic magazine published by Mayapuri Group of publications. ''Lotpot'' title was registered by Mr.A.P.Bajaj in 1969 and first issue came out in same year and has been published without a break since then. Initially it was a fortnightly magazine which later on switched to weekly mode.〔(Lotpot - Owner Bajaj )〕〔(With evergreen comic strip, "Motu Patlu" and other interesting topics & stories Lotpot is still a rage among children since 1969 )〕〔()〕 Later on, the magazine also was published in English. The circulation of Hindi version reached 1,75,000 and of English version to 2,25,000.〔 The main comic strip characters of the magazine are :- * Motu-Patlu - two brothers one fat ( Motu ) and another slim ( Patlu ), who were shown being involved in silly plots and were shown as idiots. The supporting characters with them were Master Ghasita Ram, Dr. Jhatka, Chela Ram, Dhela Ram and Anguthanand.
