Luhara is a village of Chaprauli Vidhan Sabha ( Hindi: विधान सभा ) or the ' Legislative Assembly' .It is famous for Banasura temple in the heart of village. Its name combinely called "Sherpur Luhara". Sherpur is nearby village of Luhara. All religion people lived here. In recent its majority in jat people. It is come under the tehsil of Baraut. ==History== According to history, this place is related to demon Bana (also called Banasura), due to which a temple called Baba banasur chatri temple is situated in the Luhara. Various mythological aspects of the people about this temple that their village's God come on every Sunday for bless the people of village. According to sources people migrate here from indus-valley region about many years ago.
