Madahar are people of a clan mainly found in the Punjab state of India, though some of them are found in the states of Rajasthan and Haryana as well.
==History==
Madahar's trace their roots to the Caucasian region of central Asia. It is believed that they came to India around 3000 BC and settled in the regions Sindh and Punjab of Pakistan and Punjab of India. Since this area was situated at the frontier of ancient India, therefore Madahars had fought many battles against the invading looters coming to India during lateral times.Madahars has fought many battles and was a prominent part Guru Gobind Singh's army .
