Maduru
Maduru is a Village in Thonduru Mandal, Kadapa district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, India. According to an ancient saying "people in Maduru are not intended to Eat Non Veg".

According to public talk in Village, The major cast in maduru is Satani, Once up on a time People in Maduru are non veg eaters . One Fine day an old priest and his daughter came to live in maduru village for worshipping Lord chenna keshava swamy. After some years the priest came to know that his time has arrived and written some words on her daughters tongue and died. Then being alone the priests daughter faced so many problems like comments from maduru people like showing her Non veg and ask her to eat, commenting her while going to temple but she didn't cursed any one them. But when she is in a position like she is going to die, Village people went to help her. But she refused to take help and said "If you people live like Priest then you and your Childerens future will be bright else You people are going to face so many problems " and dead. But the people of Maduru didn't take her words Serious. But the power of Words didn't left them free medicine less diseases caught them, No rain for agriculture. By seeing all these happening People in the Village got scared and went to so many saints for help, Finally one saint gave solution "People of Maduru should stop Eating Non Veg and Drinking Alcohol and pray for Lord Chenna keshava God". From that day onwards People in the Village started living like a normal people but taken Oath to stop all activities of Eating Non Veg and Drinking of Alcohol.
