Mallare is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about southwest of Genoa and about west of Savona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,292 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Mallare contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Grenni, Eremita, Le Acque, Codevilla, Fucine, Montefreddo, and Olano.
