Mammood is a small village in Kottayam district of Kerala state in India. Mammood falls under Madapally Panchayat and Chanaganacherry Thaluk. The village is situated about 10 km away from Changanacherry town. Even if it is a village it has moe than 20,000 people living there . St. Paul's C. S. I. Church, a Protestant church, Dedicated on 7 May 1841,almost One km away from Mammood. Madapally Bhagavathi (Goddess) Temple is a famous temple near Mammood. There is also a Mosque very near by at Thengana.
