It is located 4 km from the town of Gowribidanur and 10 km from Muddenahalli-Kanivenarayanapura. This town is a renowned center for Jains, and houses a highly revered Jain shrine called Manchenahalli Jain Temple devoted to Shri Kodi Brahmadeva. A tourist hub is located in nearby Minikanagurki. Pegasus Rapelling and mountain climbing are also nearby to the southwest.
