Markize is a French-Russian heavy metal band founded in 2003 by the singer-songwriter Alina Dunaevskaya and drummer David Verbecq. ==History== The project was originally founded by Alina Dunaevskaya (vocals) and David Verbecq (drums) in 2003. They were later joined by Franck Chentrier (guitars) and Julien De Feyssal (bass). A demo disc ''Poussières de Vie'' (2004), warmly welcomed by critics and public, marked a hopeful appearance of the band on the independent rock/metal scene. After an invitation to appear on the compilation ''Contre vents et marées'' of French Metal in 2006, the first album ''Transparence'' was released in March 2007. Critics (France, Russia, USA, UK) were very positive about the album: "A real personnality and a class worth of the greatest" (Metallian). Markize then performed concerts in France, Belgium and the Netherlands together with such bands as The Old Dead Tree, Cult of Luna, Eths and Watcha and were invited to appear on the American compilation ''A World of Sirens'' with their track "Another Breath". In 2008 an independent production "Eye Shot" flashed on the band and decided to invite Markize to a TV program. This resulted in three acoustic videos "In My Dream", "Transparence" and "Poussières de Vie" and the video clip "Mon Ange" which were regularly broadcast on music channels like Nolife, MTV, MCM, Virgin 17. After participating in the French Metal compilation ''A Tombeau Ouvert'', a stock shortage of the first edition of their album and further to increasing requests, ''Transparence'' was republished in April 2009 with acoustic bonus tracks and videos in France but also was out officially in a special edition in Russia. The band started then a new tour of over 50 dates in France and Belgium as a headliner that propelled them in the row of leading and best-selling bands of the French independent rock-metal scene. In 2010, French artist RoBERT invited Alina Dunaevskaya to sing a duet in the famous Parisian theatre hall: the Olympia, on 27 March 2010. This performance was recorded on DVD and issued in October 2010, where Alina appears as a Guest of Honour. In September 2010, Tarja Turunen chose Markize to play with her on ''the most beautiful scenes of Europe''. The band followed Tarja as her main support in Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Finland, France, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium. After having strengthened their experience of the first release and after their tours with more than 150 dates throughout Europe, Markize entered the studio to record a new album together with professionals such as Laurent d'Alessio (Aston Villa, Dun Leîa) and Guillaume Mauduit from Studio Sainte Marthe (AqME, Zuul FX, The Arrs). 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Markize」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
