''Maschinenstil'' is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Merzbow - Maschinenstil (CD) )〕 The title of "Stormy Monday" was taken from the first track of Lee Michaels self-titled album, due to the organ sound of the track. The drums were sampled from Terry Bozzio's drum solo on "Hands with a Hammer" from Frank Zappa's ''You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore, Vol. 3''. "Shin Kawasaki" was inspired by the industrial landscape of Shin-Kawasaki, as seen from the Yokosuka Line. The use of the Roland TR-606 drum machine and Bias EXD drum synth give the track an early 80s techno pop sound.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Merzbow : Maschinenstil )〕 An alternate version of "Shin Kawasaki" was included on ''Springharp'' in the ''Last of Analog Sessions'' box set. ==Track listing==
