In 1871, A child named Paradesi was born at Mathaganeri 12 miles north of Kanyakumari and has grown into Swami Paradesi. In 1913, Swami Paradesi received the Decent of Ayya Vaikuntar into his body which was lifted to the God’s Kingdom of Eternity on the Third Day of the Descent at the age of 42 in the presence of the villagers duly informed of the event in advance after the Decent and recorded in a Little Book titled, “Mudipukalntha Ammanai” (Hymns Glorifying Crowning Fulfillment) and preserved in the original palm leaves at a Shrine specially erected in memory of the divine event on the very spot of its occurrence at Mathaganeri. The Resurrection of Life leaving the body of dead is common to all life – beings. But the Resurrection of Life accompanied by an upliftment of the body into the Adobe of Eternity of Immortality is rarely found among people Reborn in Spirit. Jesus Christ is the first of this rare phenomenon in the West. But Ayya Vaikuntar is the fourth of this rare category at Tamil Nadu in its known history of last one thousand years, the earlier three being Pattinatthar, Pathiragiriyar and Vadalur Ramalinga Adigalar. With growth and development of True Spirituality on scientific and secular lines, the Path to Immortality and Eternal life in God shall be within the universal reach of one and all born on Earth. ()
