Matubhuiyan Matubhuiyan is a village in Daganbhuiyan Upazila, Bangladesh. The Name Matubhuiyan came from its founder Janab Mahatab Bhuiyan in the 16th century who is one of the historic Baro Bhuiyan (The Great 12 Bhuiyan). It stands on The Little Feni River. Matubhuian is a typical bazaar where usually Hat sits twice in a week (Monday & Thursday). Karim Ullah High School is traditional secondary school situated in front of Matubhuiyan Bari (also known as Matubhuiyan Chowdhury Bari) Beside the Secondary School Have a Primari School and a minute of walking distance have a Junior Madrasah, Union Board Office, Post Office and a Free Medical Service twice a week organized by son of Late Jb.
