The king (Maxmagnus, whose name was composed by the nicknames of the two creators) is an avid regent with the sole intent to invent new taxes to exploit his citizens; the ''Amministratore fiduciario'' ("Trustful Administrator") is trustful only in name, a true thief who manages to rob something in nearly every panel. Among other characters are the Queen, jealous and envious, and the Princess, silly and unpleasant.
