Despite the bad criticism he had received, ''Metamorfoz'' sold 300,000 copies in the first week of its release, which, according to the Turkish music industry, gaining diamond certification. ''Metamorfoz'' was released in Europe on February 1, 2008, by Urban (Universal Records), in a few countries like Germany and Austria. His first English language work, ''Come Closer'' did not bring satisfactory results when compared to the sales of his previous albums.
