Methera is a string quartet playing traditional music and compositions by the members of the group.〔http://www.radical-musicology.org.uk/2009/Keegan-Phipps.pdf〕 They have collaborated with other folk musicians including Karen Tweed and Nancy Kerr & James Fagan. They have recorded for the BBC Radio 3 feature 'England in Ribbons',〔(BBC - Radio 3 - Feature - England in Ribbons )〕 and have recorded soundtracks for film.〔Morris: A Life with Bells On〕 The quartet's eponymous debut album was released in 2008 and they are to release a live album entitled 'Methera In Concert' in 2010.〔(Methera )〕 ==Group members== *Lucy Deakin plays cello.
