Mumong, or Kampong Mumong in Malay is a village located in the Belait district of Brunei Darussalam between the towns of Kuala Belait and Seria. It serves as a suburb for both of these towns. Technically it is two villages - Kampong Mumong (Mumong Utara) north of the Seria Bypass, and Kampong Mumong Selatan, south of the Seria Bypass. ==Location== Mumong is located in Mukim Kuala Belait of the Belait district between the towns of Kuala Belait and Seria. It is bounded by Sungai Belait to the south, Panaga in Seria to the east and Kampong Sungai Pandan to the north and west. For the purpose of this article, Mumong is referred to the area south of Jalan Singa Menteri and east of the extension of Jalan Pandan Lima to the Seria Bypass.
