Munirabad
Munirabad also called as Huligi is a village in Koppal district in the Indian state of Karnataka. ==Demographics== Indian census, Munirabad had a population of 8,113. Males constituted 51% of the population and females 49%. Munirabad had an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy was 82%, and female literacy was 68%. In Munirabad, 12% of the population was under 6 years of age. Munirabad is mostly an industrial area. It is full of greenery and very peaceful. The Tungabhadra River is situated nearby. A huge dam was built on this river. One can also go to Hampi which was built by Raja Krishna Dev Raya which is near Hospet, if one travels by a car or train from here.The Tungabhadra Dam is well known for its Park and Independence day celebrations.
