Mycetopodidae : ウィキペディア英語版 | Mycetopodidae
The Mycetopodidae are a family of freshwater pearly mussels in the order Unionoida restricted to South America.〔Banarescu, P. 1990. Zoogeography of fresh waters v.3 Distribution and dispersal of freshwater animals in Africa, Pacific areas and South America. AULA Verlag, Weisbaden.〕 They are named for the mushroom-like shape of their foot. Like all members of the Unionoida they reproduce via a larval stage that temporarily parasitizes fish. Banarescu lists the following subfamilies and genera. ==Anodontitinae==
* ''Anodontites''
