Namburu is a suburban village in the Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is between the cities of Guntur and Vijayawada.〔(ePanchayat - Project Monitoring System )〕 The Namuburu railway station is part of the Guntur division of the South Central Railway. It is the closest railway station for Acharya Nagarjuna University. == Geography == Namburu is on the eastern side of the Guntur city towards National Highway 5. It is situated between Vijayawada (18 km) and Guntur (12 km). Geographically, Namburu is divided into four parts: *Namburu village: This is the central village where 25,000 people (including minors) live. It is blessed with good natural resources and fertile lands. The main crops grown here are paddy, maize, and black gram. Primarily Nambur is an agriculture-dependent village. This area is well built with schools, colleges, markets, shops, temples, etc. The village governance is done from there. Village panchayat, veterinary hospital, government hospitals, government schools are here. This area is best for livelihood and has a very good water supply. *Nagarjuna Nagar: This area is located north west accommodating Acharya Nagarjuna university, junior,degree, pg colleges, rain tree park township, Christian ministries. *Kali Gardens is located on the west and it is a spiritual center accommodating spiritual university, school, super speciality hospital, ayurvedic massage centers, babu vignan mandir, temples. This area has a considerable number of people. *Nambur railway station: This area contains a considerable number of people.
