Narsampet is a mandal headquarters and Nagara panchayat in Warangal district in the state of Telangana in India.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=List of Sub-Districts )〕 ==Geography== Narsampet is located at 17° 55'0N 79° 54' 0E.It has average altitude of 221 meters. Narsampet is a historical place. Before Independence the administrative unit of Narsampet was officially known as Pakhal Taluka because of its proximity to the area's lifeline - the Pakhal lake, largest lake in the region built by the Kakatiya rulers. Over the years the village has grown into one of the town in warangal district. Around 50,000 population as per census 2011 in the Narsampet Municipality. Recently Telangana Government declared neighbouring Dwarakapet and Sarvapuram villages are merged into Narsampet Municipality.The town has 28 wards and 50 colonies. The town's growth has received a big boost around ten years ago in the form of a large public investment to develop it as a model town which resulted in improvements in infrastructure, particularly roads, drains and water supply. Life in the town has become more livable following the supply of fresh Pakhal water to the entire town. Interestingly, the town has grown primarily due to the migration into the town from nearby villages. The businesses in the town are dominated by these migrants who propspered as they moved into the town. The villages comes under this mandal are Maheswaram,Raaavaram,Muthojipeta,rajupeta, Rajapally,and Chennaraopet,Khanapuram, AshokNagar, Duggondi mandal Girnibavi villages. The political violence of the area which peaked in the 1980s and 1990s has almost disappeared. Educational levels of the area have improved over the last 10–15 years thanks to the establishment of both private and government schools and colleges. The town now boasts 3 private engineering,3 Pharmacy,5Bed,2 MBA,MCA,NBA,Nursing and computer education centers in its vicinity.At the same time the town has experienced a growth of local agricultural industries. Many new rice mills have been completed or are under construction in the outskirts of the town.Highest rice mills in narsampet town over the Warangal district. Narsampet is Revenue Divisional Headquarters for Narsampet, Chennaraopet, Duggondi, Kothaguda, Khanapuram, Guduru, Nallabelly and Nekonda mandals. In the town Madhannapet Lake is very beautiful for tourism spot like Pakhal. it has grown to developed an industrial area because Near the Town AdaviMallapelly area is RedMudd fullifilled area, in the Pakhal forest col mine will come and recently Guduru Iron also available here near the Narsampet so it will be good development area. the central government had declared from Sirocha(maharastra) to Tirupathi high way in the Narsampet city with NH.365. The nearby village Budharaopet at 8 km towards Khammam SubHighway after Khanapur is a new attraction due to its serene nature of the village surrounded by three ponds and its decent infrastructure and its people who are now famous for their good education. The town has recently experienced a decrease in economic purchasing power as a local drought has ravaged the harvests of most farmers in the surrounding fields and villages.
