This area is being developed new, and hence will boast of wide roads, tall buildings, malls, educational institutions, health and commercial centers. Faridabad has huge amount of central funding coming from Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM). A number of infrastructure initiatives are already completed and many more are underway which will provide vastly improved connectivity to Greater Faridabad area which is not only limited to upcoming Delhi-Faridabad Metro but also connectivity to Greater Noida through two upcoming bridges over Yamuna one being the part of planned FNG (Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad Expressway, extension of Faridabad Bypass Road up to DND Flyover at Maharani Bagh, Delhi through Kalindi Kunj Bypass Project and widening of National Highway 2 known as Mathura Road. Greater Faridabad has a number of geographical, infrastructural, and economical advantages. ==Environment sustainability== Greater Faridabad is very close to River Yamuna which makes its land very appropriate for long term sustainability and for making sufficient natural resources like water available to its residents. Further unlike Gurgaon which is prone to direct hot summer winds coming from Jaipur (in Rajasthan), Faridabad and Greater Faridabad areas are blessed because of Aravali Range Mountains between Gurgaon and Faridabad blocking hot summer winds to enter its geographical space.
