The service consisted of five regular programmes including a weekly Scottish politics magazine podcast ‘NewsShaft’, produced and operated by News Scotland CIC, a Community Interest Company. ''NewsShaft'' launched on February 19, 2015 under News Scotland CIC by journalists Jack Foster, James Devoy and Carolyn Scott as a single podcast,〔http://news.stv.tv/scotland-decides/analysis/313768-daisley-mail-stephen-daisley-on-scottish-politics-podcast-news-shaft/〕 which since expanded to incorporate a daily news website focused on Scottish politics.
