His companies reflect his experience and contributions in a range of technologies, including Web and SOA technologies, e-commerce, SaaS, and information security software. Lim received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant contributions to the advancement of technology at IDG's Demo Fall 2009, and was selected as one of the "50 Smartest People" by ZDNet in 2000.
