Sidagni's aim was to take his experience in vulnerability management and penetration testing to develop a product that had an impact on how organizations identify and respond to cyber threats. Previously, Sidagni served as Director of Security Services at Ciphertechs and was a lead internal auditor at Blue Cross Blue Shield. In 2008, NopSec started to grow as a leading provider of penetration testing and vulnerability analysis services, primarily focused on the banking and financial sector. To meet the demand by customers to bring increased automation and better visibility to their vulnerability risk management programs, NopSec began building a platform to address the need. In 2012, NopSec launched its flagship product, Unified VRM, a platform that helps organizations improve how they detect, prioritize, and remediate the growing number of security vulnerabilities across their network, applications, and endpoints. In 2011, Lisa Xu joined the company as Chief Executive Officer to oversee the strategic and operational functions for NopSec.
