Oberstabsgefreiter (''abbr.'' ()〕 However, as distinguished from the corporal, the ''Oberstabsgefreiter'' belongs to the rank group of ''enlisted men''. == History == The rank was first introduced by the Kriegsmarine in 1940 and was named Matrosenoberstabsbefreiter.
