Okon Okon is a clan in Eket local government of Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria, it is bodered to Ikot Ekpan up north to uyo the capital of Akwa Ibom,and to the south Atabong heading to Eket main town.It has a population of about 160,000 people and 15 villages including; Ikot oso, Ikot Ikpe, Nduo Eduo, Ikot Abia, Ikot Nsidibe, Ikot Ataku, Ikot Ukpong, Ikot Inyang Ikot Inyang, Ikot Obioata, Ikot Akpandem, Ikot Obioro, Ikot Akpa Ikpo, Ikot Ekpokon, Ikot Abasi Ikot Akpaenang. Okon is bless with arable land for cultivation of crops and for farming, has some social amenities like road networks to different villages, pipe born waters for each villages, a health center at Nduo Eduo and Okon main health center at Ikot Abasi. A motor park is located near the river cross(Atabong bridge)and different schools alround each village. Shops and kiosk are everywer around the road sides, yiu can always find somewhere to sit, eat and relax with about 30 different hotels and sitouts. life at okon is very pleasant as the environment is very calm and peacefull at night. Majior villages to visit include Nduo Eduo, Ikot Okudomo, Ikot Abasi.,
