Omuo Omuo-Ekiti is an ancient town in the eastern part of Ekiti State in western Nigeria. It is the headquarters of the Ekiti East local government. It is located in Yorubaland and people there are Yoruba.〔 It is situated on the boundary to Kogi state. ==Administrative divisions==
The town is the headquarters of Ekiti-East Local Government, which contains towns and villages such as Ilasa, Araromi Oke, Ikun-oba, Eda-Ile and Isinbode. The traditional ruler of Omuo kingdom is the Olomuo, currently Oba Noah Omonigbehin, Okinbaloye II. His supporting high chiefs are Elekota-of-Kota controls Kota region with some other sub-quarters as Isaya, bolorunduro, Oda-ipona etc., Odofin of Iludofin, Olomuooke of Omuooke, Ajero of Ijero quarters and Alawe of Iworo. Other chiefs administer Oda-odo, Iworo, Ilisa, Ekurugbe, Ijero, Ahan, Oya, Oraju, Edugbe and Araromi.
