Ophthalmolebias ilheusensis
''Ophthalmolebias ilheusensis'' is a species of rivuline endemic to Brazil where it is only known from river floodplains near Ilhéus. Formerly a sub-genus of ''Simpsonichthys'', this genus has been elevated to a full genus with only this species currently being recognized as belonging to it.
