Orthopoxvirus
''Orthopoxvirus'' is a genus of viruses in the family Poxviridae and subfamily Chordopoxvirinae. Vertebrates, including mammals and humans, and arthropods serve as natural hosts. There are currently ten species in this genus including the type species vaccinia virus.
