PROjEN Ltd is a multi-disciplined project management and engineering consultancy, who commenced trading in 1978, in Northwich, with the majority of the original clients operating in the chemical sector. Since its formation the company has been the subject of two management buy-outs, the first being in 1995 and the latest in 2009. The most recent MBO was backed by the Co-operative Bank and corporate finance advice was provided by Clearwater. As a flexible, management owned SME, PROjEN have realigned their products, services, and market sector focus to ensure that steady and sustainable growth is achieved for the business. PROjEN now serve a wide range of industries including Pharmaceutical & Healthcare, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and Bioenergy (Energy from Waste & Renewables). The core business involves all elements of the project lifecycle from project inception (including feasibility studies, capital justifications, front-end engineering and detailed design), right through to full turnkey project completion. In 2009 the Company (relocated to larger premises in ) Preston Brook which were officially opened by local MP Mike Hall in November 2009. ==Major Clients & Notable Projects== PROjEN's major clients include GlaxoSmithKline, AkzoNobel, Cabot Corporation, McCain Foods, Smith & Nephew, Shanks Group and Sanofi as well as a number of other blue chip clients and many smaller operations.
