It is 114 km from Dhaka. == History == Paiyapathar or Paia Pathar (পৈয়াপাথর, পইয়াপাথর) is in the Muradnagar ''upazila'' of Comilla. Its population is approximately 1,044.〔http://www.bbs.gov.bd/PageReportLists.aspx?PARENTKEY=41〕 Although Paiyapathar is a village, due to modern urbanization it has most of the modern facilities available in Bangladesh. Paiyapathar is part of the Companigonj region along with two other villages, Gunjor and Vinglabhari. Companigonj is renowned for its historic market area.
