''Pardaliparus'' is a genus of birds in the tit family that is recognized by some authorities, such as the ''Handbook of the Birds of the Worlds Internet Bird Collection (2004–2007). It is often, as here, considered part of the genus ''Periparus'' (which many authorities, lumping still more, consider a subgenus of ''Parus''). The following species have been placed in it: *Palawan tit, ''Periparus'' (or ''Pardaliparus'' or ''Parus'') ''amabilis'' *Yellow-bellied tit, ''Periparus'' (or ''Pardaliparus'' or ''Parus'') ''venustulus'' *Elegant tit, ''Periparus'' (or ''Pardaliparus'' or ''Parus'') ''elegans'' The yellow-bellied tit inhabits China and the other two species inhabit the Philippines. The elegant tit is probably paraphyletic. ==References== * Gill, Frank B.; Slikas, Beth; and Sheldon, Frederick H. (2005): Phylogeny of titmice (Paridae): II.
