Paswan
Paswan (meaning ''Sentinel'' or ''Defender'' or ''Worthy of praise'') is a community of Hindus in India. They are generally found in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand but exist throughout India and especially in cities like New Delhi and Mumbai. They are also known as Dusadh in Bihar. They are considered to be a backward community, yet most developed among scheduled castes. in India's system of positive discrimination. == References==
