Patafunk (born Carlos Eduardo Martinez December 5, 1978) is a Venezuelan DJ/Producer/Remixer, using Patafunk as pseudonym since 2001, he started traveling with his music with a very eclectic sound that goes from disco & house to reggae & tropical, Patafunk's music can be described as (the sound of the space listened from the beach). Depending on the music he releases, Patafunk can be seeing in different formats, from a solo artist playing as DJ to a several people playing as Live Band, anyway, formats are not too important on Patafunk's music, there is always a continuous evolution and transformation through a endless experimentation Patafunk has a strong visual art content run by Su Patafunk (Susana Colina) Graphic/Fashion Designer and often musician on Patafunk (Live Band) In 2010 Patafunk moved to Brooklyn/NY where his DJ sessions and productions became more focused on Nu-Disco & House, looking for a global sound with his unique tropical touch After more than 4 years of DJing the entire NYC and a bunch of studio-experimentation making remixes for another artists, Patafunk releases "Free Your Feet" in Oct 2014, a title cut 9 minutes deep house piece in 100 bpm that features the awesome violin-irish-sisters-duo Sephira.
