Patoda is a tehsil in Beed subdivision of Beed district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It was formerly named Bhameshwar Patoda, with its name being derived from the banyan tree. Patoda is situated on banks of river Manjra, which is a tributary of river Godavari, and the area is known for its Black cotton soil Agriculture provides the main source of income in Patoda, with an medium-scale irrigation project located nearby at Mahasangavi, and three smaller irrigation projects also located in the area. Sugar is one of the major crops. However, the region tends to be drought-prone, a factor that has limited Patoda's development. Consequently, many residents hold government jobs or work in the industrial area of Pune. Patoda has two temples, Sangmeshwar, and Bhameshwar, a market, two senior colleges, and a number of schools. ==References== 〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Patoda」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
