Pattensen
Pattensen is a town in the district of Hanover, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately south of Hanover. ==History== It was the capital of the Principality of Calenberg until 1636, when the capital moved to the town of Hanover, from which the state of Hanover (including Calenberg and Celle) was named.
