Pedavena is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto. It is located about northwest of Venice and about southwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,441 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Pedavena contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Carpene, Casere dei Boschi, Croce d'Aune, Facen, Faont, Festisei, Murle, Norcen, Sega Bassa, S. Osvaldo, Teven, and Travagola.
