Pentacycle
A Pentacycle is a five-wheeled vehicle propelled by the rider. ==Origin== The original Pentacycle was designed and patented by the architect Edward Burstow in 1882 and was intended for carrying mail. It had a large central wheel directly driven by pedals, like a penny farthing bicycle, and four smaller wheels for stability. It was tried by postmen at Horsham, but although liked by postmen the idea was not taken up. There is a replica in the British Postal Museum.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Replica pentacycle )〕
